One of the events I volunteered for is the local Dallas region of the
World Information Architecture Day 2019. I was recruited by the host as
we met being a student panelist speaking at World Interaction Design
Day on Diversity and Inclusion.
I joined the marketing group to create images for social media promotion. The group consisted 3 other members. The particularly challenging feat of this task was that the other volunteers fell off as time went on.
While the WIAD had its own branding themes with different colors, I chose to use the colors and pattern found in the logo to create a sense of consistency, unity and identity.
