The Simple Story
Katy is a native Mandarin Chinese speaker born and raised in Taiwan. Her highest education in Taiwan was 5th grade but with her passion for language, she is fluent in reading, writing, listening and speaking. Funny enough, when she was first learning English, she would mix Mandarin, English and Taiwanese together. Later on, she became a quadrilingual having learned Spanish for over 5 years.
The best learning environment is immersive, interactive, and reinforced. She is prepared to help others learn the hardest language in the world.
One of Katy's greatest achievements is reading the entire Harry Potter series in Traditional Chinese.

Customize classes that fit your level and needs
Do you want to learn Traditional or Simplified Chinese? Do you want to start with Zhuyin (Bopomofo) or Pinyin (Phonetic)?

What days work for you?
Reinforcement happens with immersing oneself in the environment. I recommend three 1-hour classes per week or two 1.5-hour classes to get the best results.
